Wheeze is a drawing interpretation of a scan of the artists lungs, etched into aluminium, and distressed with a hammer. It acknowledges the physical and emotional distress of late diagnosis, and speaks to the institutional violence placed upon women when navigating chronic illness and disability in medical systems.
