Textiles/Mixed Media - upcycled materials: crochet thread, vintage metal hanger, red seed beads 40cm x 80cm (approx) £POA This work was created in June 2022 as an immediate response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in the United States. The imagery of the work with its metal hanger is quite self-explanatory and the tangled threads resemble the messiness of the physical procedure, the emotional feelings, and the psychological impacts on the victim.
