​The first show of 2025 and the first show of The House of Smalls' fifth year, childhood, interrupted is an exhibition of artwork by 70 artists responding to childhood experience, memories and trauma.

 

~ childhood (noun):

   the condition of being a child; the period of life before puberty

 

~ interrupted (adjective):

   broken, discontinued, or hindered

 

The words and language used in profiles are as provided by the artists so that work is portrayed as intended and that what artists want to say about themselves, their work and practice - however much or little and in whatever form - is said. ​
